There are 360 strings of panels which the contractor shall remove from the site and legally dispose of or store, or re-use the panels. There is no capacity outside of the Ground Mounted Photovoltaic Solar Field for storing of the panels. Framework The contractor will also remove the existing framework structure which consist of 14 2-1/2 O.D. galvanized metal posts for each string of panels. The 2-1/2 dia. Galvanized metal posts are inserted into a 3 diameter helical soil anchor that is embedded approximately 7 feet deep into the soil. The flutes ofthe helical soil anchor are also 3 in diameter.
