Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves the construction of an approximately 1,637 LF, 8' wide asphalt trail with three boardwalk type walkway sections at wetland/stream crossings (approximately 212 LF), the installation of trail signage, fence removal/installation and landscape screening. This project will require some tree removal and the utilization of erosion and sediment controls as shown on the plan set. The successful bidder will be required to pay the PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract value award. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Estimated Contract Value: $375,000 Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a worker's compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming West Vincent Township and LTL Consultants, Ltd. as additional insureds, all within 20 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project. substantially completed by June 1, 2025 Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $400.00 per calendar day.
