As of July 10, 2024 project was awarded to GC Coatings, awarded amount is $120,061.60. The Department of Food and Agriculture requires a Contractor to provide power washing, scrubbing, staining, and painting of all exterior wood and metal surfaces of structures at the Truckee Border Station facility. The Contractor shall provide power washing, scrubbing, staining, and painting of all wood and metal surfaces of structures at the facility that have been stained and painted previously, including all wood surfaces underneath the vehicle inspection building and truck inspection building roofs. Facility staining will include the dumpster enclosure and fencing around the propane vaporizers. Facility painting will include the exterior surface of the storage shed, sea container, and metal surfaces around the station. All precautions will be taken to avoid stain damage to non-wood surfaces. The CDFA reserves the right to reject all bids. The CDFA is not required to award an agreement. This Agreement falls under public works guidelines and the Contractor shall adhere to all public works contract requirements stated in this IFB and Sample Agreement, including, but not limited to Prevailing Wage Rates and Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) registration. In accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code, Section 1773, the prevailing rate of wages must apply. Copies of the current rates are available from the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations. It is also available on the internet at: http://www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD/index.htm. The wage rate schedule for Nevada County applies to these services and rates can be viewed at: https://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/2024-1/PWD/Determinations/Subtrades/NEV.html When the contractual amount exceeds $25,000, Contractor shall provide a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the Agreement within fifteen (15) calendar days of notification of award of Agreement. Failure to submit said bond shall constitute a breach of contract.
