As of June 13, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Project consists of the installation of approximately 2,730 feet of 4-inch diameter HDPE pipe above ground, 180 feet of 4-inch HDPE pipe above ground, and numerous repair sites of replacing 6-inch PVC pipe along with fittings as shown on the Contract Drawings. The Project also includes the clearing and grubbing of portions of the project for the installation of the 4-inch HDPE above ground pipe Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form payable to the District in an amount not less than 10 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond and faithful performance bond each in the full amount of the Contract price, and insurance with certificates and endorsements of insurance, as provided in the Contract Documents. The required bonds must be provided only by a surety insurer who is admitted to do business by and in good standing with the California Department of Insurance. The successful bidder must possess the following classification or type of contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board: Class A, California. The District reserves the right to reject all bids. Any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents may be rejected. The District may extend the time to award the Contract.
