The District may extend the time to award the Contract. The Project includes the following Work: The Project consists of the installation of approximately 1,440 feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron pipe shallow buried, installation of valves and appurtenances, the clearing and grubbing of portions of the project for the installation of the 12-inch pipe, and the back fill of a washed-out area of the pipe alignment. The successful bidder must possess the following classification or type of contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board: Class A, California. Copies ofthe prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the District's office, and will be made available to any interested party on request. In accordance with Labor Code section 1771.4(a)(1), this project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department ofIndustrial Relations. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form payable to the District in an amount not less than 10 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond and faithful performance bond each in the full amount of the Contract price, and insurance with certificates and endorsements of insurance, as provided in the Contract Documents
