Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cartersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of drainage improvements on both sides of Grassdale Road from SR 293/Cassville Road to SR 3/SR 20/US 41/Joe Frank Harris Parkway and sidewalk on the east side of Grassdale Road through the entire project limits. The successful bidder will have up to three hundred and sixty-five (365) consecutive calendar days to complete the work upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed to Construction from the Project Sponsor. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid, prepared on the Bid Bond form attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond per GDOT Section 103.05 will be required by the City. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance will be required with the City of Cartersville listed as an additional insured. Liquidated damages may be imposed for failure to perform as indicated in the bid proposal in accordance with Section 108.08 of the GDOT Standard Specifications for the Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 edition.
