The Town of Morinville is inviting proposals from qualified contractors for the 2024 Neighbourhood Rehabilitation Program. The project consists of a small portion of deep utility work and improvements to concrete and road infrastructure. This project is to be completed in 2024. Work under this contract consists of, but not limited to the following: - Site preparation and management, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic control measures and delineation of work zones. - Coordination of work with shallow utility companies and others, as necessary. - Saw cutting, removal, and disposal of existing hard surface materials offsite. - Removal and disposal of existing soft surfacing materials. - Lining of existing sanitary sewers. - Minor hydrant repairs (bolt replacement). - Replacement of catch basin frame and grates. - Adjustments of existing manholes, catch basins, and valves to match surface elevations. - Placement of concrete works, including curb and gutter, monolithic sidewalk, swales, and driveway tie-ins. - Road base repairs (PROVISIONAL). - Placement of road structure, including stabilized subgrade, gravel base course, soil cement, concrete base, and ACP for reconstruction. - Asphalt surface milling of existing roadway (incl. hauling millings to the Town’s Public Works yard) and asphalt surface paving (including asphalt pre-fill) – Grandin Dr. - North. Additional PROVISIONAL asphalt surface milling and paving – Grandin Dr. - South. - Supply and placement of topsoil and sod in disturbed areas. - Rehabilitation of impacted landscaping features.
