Site work and paving for a road / highway in North Salt Lake, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of May 9,2024 project was awarded to Staker Persons Companies, awarded amount is $466,119.85.** Project consists of approximately 72,320 SY of Utelite C size chips and 41,925 SY of Utelite A size chips. Contractor shall furnish and install chip seals, including fog coat on all chipped roadways. Please note that work is to be completed by June 30, 2024. Notice of Award will be given May 8, 2024. Anticipated date of Notice to Proceed: May 20, 2024 Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashiers Check in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid price, drawn payable to the order of North Salt Lake City. CONTRACTOR agrees to pay the following sums to the OWNER as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. Late Contract Time Completion Two Hundred and Fifty dollars and Zero cents ($250.00) for each day or part thereof that expires after the Contract Time. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented or to waive any informality in a bid and to make award in the best interest of the City.
