Pioneer Technology Center is accepting sealed bids for the 2024 HVAC Project. (1) Trane 10 ton 2 stage HVAC unit (2) Trane 15 ton 2 stage HVAC units Installation of units and new ductwork which includes, electrical, phase line monitors, building automation with ES2 integration/graphics, curbs, roofing materials and crane equipment for installation. Bids must be sealed and accompanied with a bid bond of the total bid amount. Late bids and/or bids without bid bond will not be considered. A public construction contract shall provide for partial payment based upon work completed. The contract shall provide that up to ten percent of all partial payments made shall be withheld as retainage. At any time, the contractor has completed in excess of fifty percent of the total contract amount; the retainage shall be reduced to five percent of the total earned to date if the owner's duly authorized representative has determined that satisfactory progress is being made, and upon approval by the surety. Required Bonds: 1. 5% with receipt of bid/cashier's check 2. 100% prior to contract-will pay all sub-contractors /bills-Statutory Bond 3. 100% Performance Bond 4. 100% One-year workmanship- Defect Bond (Or a letter of credit will cover requirement) Successful bidder will be notified within 10 working days after bid opening and must provide a performance bond in the amount of the total bid prior to starting project. Unsuccessful bidder will have bond returned within 10 working days after bid closing. Vendor documents will be required with 15 days of the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein. Conditional bids will not be accepted.
