The purpose of this request for proposals is to obtain proposals from firms to provide professional consulting and engineering design services related to the D&L Trail: Hanover Segment Design. The Contractor will design, test, analyze, draw, survey, acquire permits, prepare contract plans and specifications and provide construction oversight for the D&L Trail from the existing trail at the Hanover/Catasauqua Border to the Hanover/City of Allentown boundary line on Dauphin St. across from St. Luke's Way, including a crosswalk on Dauphin St and appropriate access points to the Township's Canal Park. Design considerations shall be in accordance with Attachment No. A, Conceptual Plan - D&L Trail - Allentown East Feasibility Study (4 pages). Please note that this project includes the portion of the trail (not shown on the Conceptual Plan) north to the existing trail at the Catasauqua/Hanover Township border.
