The work involves a single prime contract: Electrical work to include replacement and addition of interior and exterior CCTV security cameras, new CCTV system infrastructure, connections to and programming of the facility's existing CCTV software platform, cabling and wiring, conduit and raceways, and related work. Bid Security shall accompany each Bid submitted, in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond executed by an acceptable Surety Company. Bid Security shall be in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond. All questions are to be submitted in writing to Strunk-Albert Engineering LLC to mharper@strunk-albert.com. All questions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The final addendum will be issued on or before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. The Lehigh County Executive reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as well as the right to waive all informalities in awarding a Contract in the best interests of the County of Lehigh. The existing video surveillance network provides the management of the Jails video surveillance functions and integration to the door control system and functions.
