All proposals must be on file with Oxford School District prior to the opening time as stated above. All proposals must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as indicated Exterior Basketball Court at Central Elementary to be opened on {insert bid date here}. Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the Bidder and the School District assumes no responsibility for the premature opening of same by any School District employee. Each bidder must deposit with his bid (or upload at Bidders Option), security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders shall comply with law of the State of Mississippi requiring Certificate of Responsibility. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must adhere to the Owners policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Budget Estimate: +/- $340,000 Project will be reviewed and awarded at the May board meeting on Monday, May 20th Concrete Milestone June 21st All questions must be received by Friday, May 10 @ 2:00 p.m. c. Last addendum must be sent out by 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 14th we will substantially complete the Work by July 26, 2024 with a concrete milestone date of June 21, 2024.
