Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The City of Newport News is seeking proposals for the resurfacing of the Newport News Park signs with natural stone veneer. Remove corbeled sections at the top of columns and relay tops to exclude corbels. Install wall caps to the top of both columns and the horizontal sections of the brickwork . Wall Caps shall be Eldorado Stone(R) Chiseled Edge Wall Cap, 37x 12 x 2.25 Buckskin Install thin veneer stone over remaining exposed brink work. Veneer shall be Eldorado Stone(R) Country Rubble, Bella Veneer to be installed using Laticrete(R) MVIS(TM) thin veneer mortar and standard S grey mortar for the joints. 13560 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23603 Sign is located at the corner of Ft. Eustis Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue Target date for start of resurfacing, May 1, 2024 Target date for completion of resurfacing, May 15, 2024 Questions regarding this Request for Quotes (RFQ) must be submitted in writing through the Question/Answer Tab via the City's e-Procurement portal, on or before, Thursday, April 18, 2024 by 2:00 pm. Please include the section title for each question, if applicable, in order to ensure that questions asked are responded to correctly. All questions submitted and answers provided shall be electronically distributed to bidders following this solicitation on the received prior to the date and time as provided for in this solicitation.
