The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as Owner, on behalf the State Board of Education (Using Agency or SBE), is seeking firms interested in providing general contractor services for a project known as Project No. SBE-051, Agri-Mechanical Science Building at Camp John Hope in Fort Valley, Georgia (Project) The firms determined by the owner to be the most qualified for this project will be invited to submit bids for the General Contracting Services for this project. Question Deadline 04/26/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All relevant and significant questions that have been submitted in writing prior to the deadline will be compiled, and answers will be posted to the project information on the Georgia Procurement Registry at Online. The estimated project cost is in the range of $2,750,000. The scope will include two new sprinklered additions to the original building. The South Addition will be a 7,567 sf PEMB structure which will connect to the south side of the original building and will contain an AgriMechanical science lab, a horticulture lab, a classroom, an office suite, a unisex restroom, and support spaces. This addition will also include approximately 5,784 sf of covered outdoor space and a new building entrance with a covered porch. The North Addition will be a 1,266 sf conventionally framed structure which will connect to the north side of the original building and will contain two additional classrooms. It is anticipated that construction will begin by August 2024
