If the total bid amount is over $50,000, the successful Bidder will be required to obtain Performance and Payment Bonds per the Illinois Public Construction Bond Act, 30 ILCS 550. Upon notice of acceptance of Bid, the successful Bidder shall, within five (5) calendar days of said notice, furnish to the Procurement Officer a faithful Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond(s) in the full amount of the contract, conditioned upon the faithful performance of all covenants, conditions, and stipulations under the contract.
