Renovation of a military facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary for the dredging and removal of the accumulated debris and marine sediment currently present below the Syncrolift platform, within the Syncrolift Basin. The accumulated marine sediment is contaminated with chemicals of concern and Suspected Unexploded Explosive Ordinance (UXO). Also included it the disposal of all dredge material and dredge debris at an offsite, upland Disposal Facility licensed to accept the subject materials. The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than November 17, 2025 and must be completed no later than December 31, 2025.
