The District cannot guarantee internet access. It is strongly recommended that you respond 24 hours prior to the bid closing date and time for submittal. The District is unable to verify if a bid has been successfully uploaded in Public Purchase. The Public Purchase system places all submissions into a virtual lock box where they cannot be viewed by the District until after the due date and time. Bidders can check their submission by returning to the home page of Public Purchase. The bid will be shown in the "Bids Responding To" section. DO NOT EMAIL A COPY OF YOUR BID TO THE DISTRICT. The Public Purchase website will not allow bids to be uploaded after the due date and time established. Bidders accept all risks for uploading their quotation by the established due date and time. Question Deadline 04/25/2024 at 4:30 PM PT. Work Description and Site: The project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a 500,000-gallon welded steel reservoir (approximately 85-feet-high, 34-feet diameter) set on a new reinforced concrete foundation. The reservoir will be equipped with a roof vent, roof hatch, hand railings and a gutter system around the top of the tank, two access manways, exterior and interior ladders with exterior and interior access platforms, independent inlet and outlet flanged connections, water sampling port, overflow and drain piping connections (with required air gap), tank level measuring equipment, conduit chase, gutters and downspouts, anchors, and exterior and interior coatings. The project also includes reconfiguring existing piping and valving, new flow meters with vaults, new check valve, new Flex-Tend flexible expansion joints, new seismic valve with actuator, new seismic controller, gravel road repair, gravel laydown, extruded concrete curb, stormwater drainage improvements, erosion control, and landscape/surface restoration. The primary purpose of the proposed project is to increase the storage capacity of the Kayak and the Warm Beach Water Systems. Construction shall be performed while maintaining service from the existing Snohomish PUD Tank No.1, as detailed on the Contract Drawings. The location of the work is located within a PUD easement near 16315 66th Ave. NW, near the city of Stanwood, WA 98292, in Snohomish County. Engineer's Estimate: $2,450,000.00 If a Bidder uploads a file to Public Purchase, it is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure the file is not corrupt or damaged. If the District is unable to open an attachment because it is damaged, corrupt, infected, etc., the District may disqualify the Bidder's submission. Scope of Work: 1. The work to be performed under these specifications includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to design, fabricate, construct, apply protective coatings, inspect, and test a 500,000-gallon, above-ground, water storage reservoir and accessories as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 2. The reservoir shall be vertical, cylindrical, flat bottom type of seal-welded steel construction, supported on a mat slab type cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation with anchorage. The Engineer has determined the required foundation to be mat slab type with an assumed anchorage force resisting system comprised of uniformly spaced anchor rods as designed by the reservoir designer. 3. The work shall also include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to clean, apply protective coatings, test, and disinfect the water storage reservoir as specified herein.
