Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project area is located at the west end of W River Ln. in the Village of Brown Deer, Wisconsin. The project consists of a base bid to construct a new park with playground, concrete multi-use sport court, asphalt pavement pickleball courts, picnic areas and restroom facilities, as well as an alternative bid to construct a new parking lot, speed table, and storm sewer facilities in the existing right of way of West River Lane. Base Bid major work items and approximate quantities include: 120 tons of asphalt pavement, 14,100 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 600 cubic yards of excavation common, 190 linear feet of storm sewer, 3,600 square yards of lawn and landscape restoration, and 670 linear feet of 6' tall Fence. Alternative Bid #1 major work items and approximate quantities include: 320 tons of asphalt pavement, 80 square yards of 8" concrete pavement, 270 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 750 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 80 linear feet of storm sewer, 9 - 48" diameter storm structures, 50 linear feet of sanitary sewer Pipe, 40 linear feet of water pipe, 700 square yards of lawn and landscape restoration. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
