The objective of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to award two Contracts for repair services to FW horizontal and vertical pumps. FW intends to award a Contract to a primary and a Contract to a secondary Contractor. The initial term of the Contracts shall commence on the date the Contract is fully executed by FW and expiring on the last day of the 12th month following execution of the Contract by FW (Initial Contract Term). The Contracts may be renewed for four additional one-year renewal terms (Renewal Contract Terms). See Attachment 6 – Agreement referenced and incorporated in this solicitation, for more detail. The Total Bid Prices for Evaluation are based on two actual pump overhaul tasks scheduled for the fall 2024 and winter 2025, with scopes of work defined in Section 2.2 – Core Services and in Section 2.3 - Additional Services. The pricing of tasks during the Contract Term for Core Services and Additional Services shall be as shown in Section 1.2, Figure 1 – Contract Price Matrix for Core Services and Additional Services. Scope of work for the EBARA 900 x 600 CDM, Horizontal Split Case Pump at GTP: 1. Tentatively scheduled for fall 2024 work on below pump. a. EBARA 900 x 600 CDM, Horizontal Split Case Pump b. Application: Raw water pumping c. Model: EBARA 900 x 600 CDM d. Serial Number: R000249001 (1/3) e. Capacity: 26,000GPM f. TDH: 194' g. RPM: 710 RPM h. Pump Location: Lorton, Virginia, 22079 i. Assembled Pump Weight (excluding motor or base): 15,320 lbs 2. Provide round trip transportation to and from Fairfax Water facility in zip code 22079. Pump station crane can be used to load pump. 3. Receive pump and document visual condition for shipping damage. Inventory components, measure and record impeller float and shaft extension dimensions. 4. Complete a Pump Condition Assessment Report within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving the pump in the Contractor's shop. 5. Disassemble, clean, dry abrasive blast clean all cast and non-machined components to achieve SSPC-SP10, near-white blast cleaning. 6. Inspect pump components. a. Visually check and dimensionally record all components clearance and fit. b. Shaft: shaft run outs and fits, bearing, sleeve clearance/fits, Including couplings, and keyway and keys. c.
