The Contractor must be familiar with VA-CHPS criteria and responsibilities that accompany a CHPS project. This section establishes the standard required mounting heights for the types of equipment and accessories normally associated with the scope of school construction. Contractor shall coordinate the standards listed herein with the Construction Drawings and other specifications sections of the construction documents to determine applicability of the standards to equipment and accessories specified for the work, and the suitability of mounting height dimensions to the building occupants, where more than one dimension is listed for a particular item or accessory.
