create a Rustic Trail within a new park we are constructing. Bidders must provide proof of liability insurance Lake Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids at the discretion of the board. PROJECT AND LOCATION The project associated with this RFP is or shall be located at M-55 And US-127, Houghton Lake, Michigan 48629. Parcel # 006-033-012-0100 and 006-033-009-0020. PROJECT OBJECTIVE The objective and goal for this project is to cut a 1.5-mile wood chipped path through 23 wooded acres to create walking trails. PROJECT SCOPE AND SPECIFICATIONS A 23-acre area will be marked for the creation of roughly 1.5 miles of wood chipped walking trails. The path will be laid out by township staff. The path will be 4 to 6 feet wide. Wood chips will be added as needed to create a stable walking surface. See Diagram. SCHEDULED TIMELINE The following timeline has been established to ensure that our project objective is achieved; however, the following project timeline shall be subject to change when deemed necessary by management. MILESTONE DATE Start of Project: Late May 2024 Completion of Project: June 2024 Question Deadline 04/30/2024
