Renovation of a municipal facility in Bridgman, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
General Construction Contract shall include, but is not limited to the following: Renovation of a 9,845sf City Hall and Fire Department building. The work includes selective demolition and construction of the building improvements. Trades include but are not limited to: rough and finish carpentry, drywall, doors, overhead doors, windows, decorative metal siding, insulation, exterior insulated finish system repair, roof edging and standing seam metal roofing repair. The project also includes electrical, and lighting fixture replacement. Mechanical work including exhaust fan removal or repair at Tower. The project is tentatively scheduled to be awarded at the May 5, 2025 City Council meeting and has a tentative completion date of September 23, 2025. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The project requires Labor and Materials and Performance Bonds. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors is encouraged
