The Town of Queen Creek (TOQC) is seeking a qualified CMAR to provide preconstruction and construction services at two facilities within the Town's water service area: 1) The Kenworthy Tank and Booster site (Kenworthy Site) is located on the east side of Kenworthy Road approximately 3/4 of a mile north of Combs Road in Pinal County. The Kenworthy site will be constructed within a 53-acre parcel of land known as the Kenworthy Pit, owned by TOQC and formerly a sand and gravel operation. This site, an existing 2-tank and booster pumps site is to be upgraded to include a new approximately 1-million-gallon tank and additional booster pumps. Question Deadline 02/20/2025 at 5:00 PM MT Project Summary: The Town of Queen Creek (TOQC) is seeking a qualified CMAR to provide preconstruction and construction services at two facilities within the Town’s water service area: 1) The Kenworthy Tank and Booster site (Kenworthy Site) is located on the east side of Kenworthy Road approximately ¾ of a mile north of Combs Road in Pinal County. The Kenworthy site will be constructed within a 53-acre parcel of land known as the Kenworthy Pit, owned by TOQC and formerly a sand and gravel operation. This project will construct a new approximately 1-million-gallon tank and booster system in the northwest corner of the 53-acre site. 2) Main Plant Tank and Boosters Upgrade (Main Plant Site) is situated at North Schnepf Road and East Joy Drive in Pinal County. This site, an existing 2-tank and booster pumps site is to be upgraded to include a new approximately 1-million-gallon tank and additional booster pumps. The CMAR will develop a plan to optimize all aspects of concurrent/overlapping construction of both sites particularly in respect of cost and schedule and as both sites are funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, both are required to be fully completed [this includes final acceptance and final payment] including required documentation by October 31, 2026. Any failure to meet the construction completion date will endanger the Town’s $35M ARPA grant.
