Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Elyria, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary to complete the work. This project includes the following line items: 228 CY ODOT 441, Type-I, PG 64-22 asphalt concrete surface course; 266 CY ODOT 441, Type-II, PG 64-22 asphalt concrete intermediate course; 5,475 SY asphalt concrete surface removal by planing and grinding; 2,000 SF of Concrete walk replacement, 450 FT of curb replacement, and other pertinent items; all as shown on construction plans and specifications prepared by the Office of the Elyria City Engineer. COMPLETION TIME: The contractor will have until August 30, 2024 to complete the work. BID SECURITY: The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the ORC and the Instructions to Bidders. PREVAILING WAGES: The contractor and any subcontractor must comply with the prevailing wage rate requirements on public improvements in Lorain County and the City of Elyria, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division (614) 644-2239. A complete listing of prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lorain County may be obtained from the City of Elyria Engineer's Office at (440) 326-1444 or at online. Please note it is the Contractor's responsibility to know the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lorain County. Owner Rights: The City reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids received, and to accept any bid with any combination of alternates which is deemed most favorable to the City of Elyria, Ohio at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the project documents.
