Site work for a mixed-use development in Walker, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.
Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 5/3/2024, 11 AM the Kent County Purchasing Division Inquiry Blog via The Millennium Park swimming area is located on an inland lake with dramatic change in lake levels (>3') throughout the season. Anchors attached to floating markers/buoys are not an acceptable solution due to the varying lake elevation which can cause the water indicator to be dramatically off. Additionally, the guests must not be able to move the permanent solution proposed. Proposal must include the plan for permanent marking solution along with the removal of 15 U-channel posts used in the previous buoy solution. The current posts are driven directly in the soil. Not all posts extend above the waterline. All posts have been located with the assistance of the Kent County Sheriff Department Dive Team. Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by Respondent. The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for a permanent marking solution to define the swimming area at Millennium Park. Proposals should conform to any local, state, or federal requirements for designated swim areas.
