**As of July 10, 2024, project was awarded to C-HAWKK Construction, Inc., awarded amount is $312,839.85.** Removal and replacement of existing pavement markings at various locations in the City including approximately 53840 LF of Solid White 6" MMA, 189 LF of Yellow Diagonals, 51553 LF of Yellow 6" MMA, 1821 LF of Solid White Stop Bar 24" MMA, 497 EA of Crosswalk Blocks 24"x6' MMA, 61 EA of L/R/S Arrow, 21 EA of Bike Symbols with Arrow, 335 LF of Dotted Extension Lines. NON-MANDATORY There is not a Pre-Bid meeting for this bid. Questions Deadline: 5:00pm CST on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. All questions and requests for clarification must be submitted to purchasing@lawrenceks.org by 5:00pm CST on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond no less than 5% of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Lawrence, retained by the City Commission until a contract for the project shall have been awarded. Checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities. Date for Final Completion: The Work will be substantially completed on or before September 20, 2024, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph GC-54 of the General Conditions on or before October 4, 2024.
