The Blanco Road Phase III Project is located in northern Bexar County of Blanco Road from Borgfeld Drive to the Bexar/Comal County line. The objective of the Project is to expand from an existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane urban roadway section wiht necessary pedestrian/bicycle, operation and drainage improvements. The project will reconstruct approximately 2.09 miles. The Project will improve public safety by increasing traffic capacity, improving mobility, providing unflooded access, and enhancing safety in the area. The federally funded (MPO) Blanco Road Phase III project will reconstruct this roadway from Borgfeld Drive to the Bexar County line. Improvements will reconstruct Blanco Road from its existing configuration to a four-lane roadway with necessary drainage improvements, operational improvements, and bicycle/pedestrian amenities. A partial summary of the article follows: Section 1: General prevailing wage rates apply to work by all laborers, workmen, and mechanics engaged in work under this contract as outlined in the Project Manual (pages 184-185). Section 2: Bexar County Commissioners Court has established that the wages contained in General Wage Decision (Pages 184-185) as the minimum to be paid for all work. A penalty of ($60.00) has been established for each violation. (A violation is: one worker, for one day not being paid as called for herein). If and when violations are discovered, monies will be withheld to cover the penalties involved. Section 3: Complete records shall be maintained for all wages paid under this contract. The records must contain the names, wages paid, and occupations of all workers.
