Site work and renovation of a civil project in Andover, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be done under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete the construction of the exterior pad-mounted air handling unit, mechanical and electrical connections, temporary access road, and appurtenant work at the Andover Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Andover in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described in the proposal. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. The Owner will retain deposits of the three lowest bidders until the contract has been awarded and executed, but for no longer than sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, in the interest of the Owner.
