vegetation within R/W (R/W is 25 ft each way from centerline of
road)- disposal of vegetation
o Ditching along both sides of road- minimum 1 ft depth from road
edge but deeper if needed for positive drainage - 3/1 inslopebackslope from ditch bottom to R/W limit- finished roadway
width will be 24 ft wide- disposal of ditch material- finish ditch
with recovered topsoil
o All necessary erosion control
o Placement of 4 cross culverts- culverts shall be bedded and
compacted with crushed gravel to 3/4 of culvert height- culverts
shall have a minimum cover of 1 ft of gravel to match existing
road surface- riprap with 180 weight fabric will be placed at both
the inlet and the outlet of culverts (shot rock)
o Culvert #1- at approx. 1000ft from STH 118- 24"x 40' HDPE
o Culvert #2- at approx. 2700 ft from STH 118- 36"x 40'- HDPE
o Culvert #3- at approx. 2800 ft from STH 118- 24"x 40'- HDPE
o Culvert#4- at approx. 3200 ft from STH 118- 15"x30' HDPE
o Placement of 6 field entrance culverts- 12"x 30' CMP- placed and
covered with 3/4" gravel-placement will be decided during
project by Town Chair
o Haul, place, grade, compact, and water 3" of 3/4 " road gravel on
entire length of roadway- 1800 tons- finished roadway width will
be 24 ft wide
o All necessary Road Construction signage
o All necessary Road Construction staking
