Jackson Road Concrete Pavement Inlay DESCRIPTION OF WORK Work on WB Jackson Road consists of removing the existing concrete pavement and construction of high performance, nonreinforced concrete pavement. Removal and replacement of existing concrete curb and gutter, primarily at driveway openings (Detail M), are indicated herein and as identified by the Engineer. The JACKSON ROAD PROJECT shall consist of all labor, materials, and equipment required for the proposed concrete pavement inlay in the westbound lanes of Jackson Road in Scio Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan. The Project includes maintenance of traffic as specified, concrete pavement and curb removal, concrete pavement and curb and gutter construction, and permanent pavement markings. The Engineer anticipates that construction can begin no earlier than June 10, 2024 ; The entire project must be completed by the final completion date of October 4, 2024. An electronic bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price, payable to the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC), is to accompany each proposal. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
