Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Garrett Park, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
This contract consists of a base scope of roadway and sidewalk improvements and replacements along Waverly Avenue, paving work on Weymouth Street, road improvements on Kenilworth and paving and curb installations on various streets as indicated. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Concrete sidewalk, curbs o Asphalt Paving o Grading improvements o Sediment control/stabilization o Traffic/pedestrian control o Other appurtenances or details as shown o Refer to attached specification for details o Refer to attached plans for project quantities, dimensions, grades and details The Notice of Award is intended to be issued by May 15, 2024, and work must be completed by October 4, 2024. Deadline for Questions: April 18, 2024, 4:00 p.m. e-mail to jazar@clarkazar.com (all questions must be submitted by email) A bid bond, certified check or bank treasurer's check in the amount of five percent of the initial contract price must accompany the bid form, or the same will not be considered. The successful bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds and a letter of intent to issue a Maintenance Bond to the owner in penal sums equal to 100 percent of the amount of the bid. The work set forth in the Scope of Work shall be completed by September 30, 2024
