For the following: Options: Base Bid Item Number: 1 Quantity: 29,832 Unit: Sq. Yds. Description; Asphalt Seal Coat (Double Application -Low Dutch Road, Goulden Road, and Solomon Road) Liquidated damages apply at the rate of S870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the fonns furnished by the Municipality or Project Engineer, Keller Engineers, located at 207 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA, (717)334-9137. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. LOCATION OF WORK: This project is located on Low Dutch Road, Goulden Road, and Solomon Road within Mount Joy Township, Adams County DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The scope of work for this project involves the double application of Asphalt Seal Coat on Low Dutch Road, Goulden Road, and Solomon Road containing #8 Stone. Work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and traffic control incidental to all seal coating operations. All seal coating operations shall be in accordance with the most updated PennDOT Publication 408 Standards. Traffic control shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213, as most recently revised.
