Site work for a civil project in Union Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of installing four grinder pumps at four separate residences. The pumps, pump stations, and control panels will be supplied by the township to the successful bidder. Force mains must also be installed, connecting the grinder pumps to existing laterals on the main 8" PVC sewer line. All work must be done within a 20' wide right of way on four separate properties. Contractors are expected to have the grinder pumps fully operational, including electrical work, before the project is considered complete. When working on the roads, all work must be compliant with the PA DOT manual, and PA DOT Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP). A copy of the HOP has been included within the Bid Specs.
