Proposals will be received by the Town of Merrimack for the removal of trees for the Highway Department. Time and effort spent for bid preparation is the responsibility of the bidder. The act of submitting a bid is considered to be full acknowledgement that the bidder has inspected the sites and is familiar with the conditions. The trees are tagged with yellow tape at the following locations: 21 Longa Rd. - 2 trees 116 Naticook Rd. - Wasserman Park - 2 Trees - one by Cabin 5 and one hung up over the trail leading from the playfield to the beach (see attached sketch) 482 Daniel Webster Highway - Kids Kove Playground - 1 large pine (see attached sketch) Please contact Lori Halverson, Operations Manager, at (603) 423-8551 if you have any questions regarding the locations of the trees/stumps. The proposal shall exclude state and federal taxes not applicable to municipalities. The bid price shall be quoted F.O.B. Town of Merrimack, (locations listed above) Merrimack, NH and shall include all labor and materials that are required to complete the Work. All trees are to be removed in total, no logs shall be left at the listed locations. Trees shall be cut as close to the ground as possible. Traffic Control can be provided by the Town when necessary. Trees may be removed from the list due to budget restraints. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the Town.
