Site work for a civil project in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Project shall include open ditch repairs consisting of 56,000 CY of silt removal, spoil leveling, rock pickup, tillage, temporary and permanent seeding, pipe replacement, culvert cleaning, grubbing and clearing, relaying county road culvert, and all associated work and incidentals required to complete the project. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 468.35a of the Iowa Code in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Base Bid plus all Alternates Site Directions: The work is located approximately 1 mile west of Duncombe, Iowa in Joint Drainage District No. 4-272, Lateral 1 in Webster and Hamilton Counties, Iowa. Est. Value: $ 660,000.00 Est. Completion Date: March 1, 2025 Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the Board, and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be substantially completed no later than March 1 st , 2025. Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for each day the work remains incomplete. The Webster County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids
