Site work for a civil project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The scope of work consists of replacing signs and sand; removal of a concrete slab, sandbags, a concrete column, trees, and debris; installing rip rap stones, geotextile fabric, Kyowa Bags (or approved equal), Triton Marine Mattresses (or approved equal), Sandsavers with scour protection, delineators, concrete slab, informational signs, and native plants with irrigation. The estimated cost of construction is between $7,000,000 and $8,000,000. To be eligible for award, bidders shall possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" license prior to the award of contract. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in online no later than May 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., HST Bidders shall read the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Requirements, included in this solicitation, which establishes the program requirements pursuant to Title 49, CFR, Part 26, and includes the requirements of certification, method of award, and evidence of good faith.
