Site work for a water / sewer project in N Tazewell, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Route 460 Water Line Replacement Project -Phase I. The materials required to replace various sized water line with 12-inch water line, the materials required to install a 6-inch pressure reducing station, and the materials required to construct an aerial bridge crossing, and the materials required for service connections. This project is being funded by The Virginia Department of Health-Office of Drinking Water State Revolving Fund; as such, Bidders must comply with all applicable requirements instituted by the Virginia Department of Health as outlined in the bid package. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must comply with the following: the President's Executive Order #11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; the President's Executive Orders #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Davis-Bacon Act; and Section 436 of P. L. 113-76, American Iron and Steel. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids if it appears in its best interest to do so. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
