As of June 25, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 16, 2024. To demolish the abandoned facilities at the old South Bay Wastewater treatment facility. The facilities consist of a single building and several tanks that are adjacent to each other. Old and excess recyclable materials that do not contain metal or steel will be integrated back into a new building or new building site. Concrete will be recycled on-site by crushing; material will then be used to fill holes where needed on-site. The contractor will be responsible for all costs of transport and proper disposal of all demolition debris. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to seek the service of a qualified professional contractor to provide demolition services to the City of South Bay.
