The Work of this Contract generally consists of furnishing chemicals and supplies to the Town of Milford Water Department for the period July 1, 2024, though June 30, 2025. The supplies and chemicals to be furnished include: Liquid Poly/Aluminum Chloride, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hypochlorite, Zinc Orthophosphate, and Potassium Permanganate. Detailed requirements for the chemicals can be found in Section 00400: Bid Form. No additional fees or surcharges will be permitted for delivery or other outlined services in this contract for the duration of the period. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days (Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded) after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. If the bidder views/obtains the plans and specifications from a source other than those noted in this Advertisement for Bids, the accuracy and/or completeness of the bid documents cannot be guaranteed and the bidder assumes the responsibility for obtaining any additional information regarding the project, including addenda, that may be required for bidding. Failure to acknowledge addenda issued during bidding shall designate a bid as non-responsive.
