Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lynn Center, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Swedona Water Treatment Plant Improvements Construction of a new 24'x30' water treatment facility that will house a hydro-pneumatic storage tank, chlorine chemical feed room, a laboratory, and electrical and control equipment. Construction of a new detention tank with integral splash aeration, yard piping, and relocation of electrical service and back-up power generation equipment. Once the new treatment facility is brought online, the existing underground facility will be demolished and site improvements including a gravel drive and perimeter fence can be completed. SCOPE OF WORK A. Perform dust control operations, in an approved manner, whenever necessary or when directed by the Engineer, even though other work on the project may be suspended. Dust control shall be generally accomplished by the use of water; however, the use of calcium chloride or other means may be used when necessary to control dust nuisance. B. Calcium chloride shall conform to AASHTO M144, Type I except the requirements for total alkali chlorides and other impurities shall not apply. C. Provide testing, isolation walls, or other means approved by the Engineer, to protect adjacent facilities and equipment from dust. D. Submit dust control plan for approval by the Engineer. E. Methods of controlling dust shall meet all air pollutant standards as set forth by Federal and State regulatory agencies.
