Renovation of a municipal facility in Cary, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**Per Addendum 2 the bid date has been extended from 05/14/24 to 05/16/24** - Remove and dispose of old 7.5-ton outdoor unit. - Install new equivalent 7.5-Ton outdoor unit (480V) on existing pad. (Contractor must modify pad if new unit does not fit on old pad) - Flush existing line set with flush kit. - Hook up existing line set to new indoor and outdoor units. - Re-Insulate existing line set from outdoor unit to where line set enters building. - Install new liquid line filter dryer and sight glass. - Install low ambient kit on outdoor unit. (If necessary, with new units) - Install new electrical fused disconnect with fuses to existing 480V 3 phase and re-wire from disconnect to outdoor unit. (Contractor to make sure the main feed has the adequate voltage and current for the new unit) All wiring shall be in accordance with the national electrical code N.E.C). - Re-connect existing low voltage control wires to new unit. - Evacuate and charge system per manufacture recommendation. - Start-up system and balance refrigerant charge. - All debris and packaging shall be properly disposed of by the contractor to an offsite disposal site or recycling center in compliance with state and local ordinances
