Description Sewer Service Line Replacement in Various Locations Project Name: Sewer Service Line Replacement in Various Locations The City of Memphis encourages the participation of Small and Minority Businesses in the Purchasing process. Minority/Small Business Participation Goal: MBE: 44% / WBE: 6% A BID BOND IS REQUIRED IF BID AMOUNT IS $100,000 OR MORE. Award of contracts will be made on the basis of the lowest and best bids as determined by the City of Memphis. This procurement may be subject to the requirements of ordinance NO. 5114 which establishes a local preference for local businesses located within the City of Memphis. A copy of your Memphis and Shelby County Tennessee business tax receipt must accompany your bid for consideration of this ordinance. Any protest of award must be filed in writing with the Purchasing Agent within TEN (10) days of the award announcement. All bid forms must be received at the location stated above no later than 12:00 noon CT on the "Quote Due Date" in order to be considered. Only bids submitted on the supplied form(s) with no changes, additions, or deletions to the terms and conditions will be considered. All bids must be signed by an authorized representative of your firm.
