Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sykesville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Town of Sykesville is requesting written sealed proposals for asphalt patching and paving on several Town streets. Questions and concerns regarding this project should be directed to Derek Shreves, Public Works Director, 443-789-6613. dshreves@sykesville.net The Mayor and Town Council reserve the right to waive any formalities and to reject all bids. SCOPE OF WORK The work to be performed includes the following: o All patching included in the Project Description. Additional patching to be determined by contractor and discussed with Town Representative. o Cleaning and filling existing cracks and joints (between previous paving passes) in the existing Hot Mix Asphalt surfaces. Full milling is required on all roadway surfaces and as needed elsewhere. Saw cuts as needed for paving, patching and tie-ins to meet existing surfaces. o Raising all storm drain and utility manholes and valve boxes as needed. Inlet grates are not to be raised. o Construction of Hot Mix Asphalt Superpave surface course (overlay) 1 1/2 " inches depth after compaction. o PROVIDE, ON A DAILY BASIS, ALL LOAD AND QUANTITY TICKETS TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR All work under this Contract shall be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed
