The purpose of this solicitation is to contract with an electric contractor to complete the repairs associated with Hurricane Harvey flood damage at Paul Hopkins Park as well as perform mitigation work to elevate the boxes in an attempt to keep this type of damage from reoccurring. Paul Hopkins Park 1000 FM 517 Dickinson, Texas 77539. Galveston County received Hurricane Harvey FEMA funding after the electric infrastructure at Paul Hopkins Park was damaged from rising flood waters. Galveston County was also awarded funds to elevate the electrical boxes to mitigate against this type of flooding damage in the future. This project includes both the repair of above and underground electric line as well as the elevation of electric boxes at multiple locations. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this is between $100,000 to $175,000.
