Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Dickinson, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

Galveston County issues this solicitation is to contract with an electric contractor to complete the repairs associated with Hurricane Harvey flood damage at the following location as well as perform mitigation work to elevate the boxes in an attempt to keep this type of damage from reoccurring. Paul Hopkins Park 1000 FM 517 Dickinson, Texas 77539 Galveston County received Hurricane Harvey FEMA funding after the electric infrastructure at Paul Hopkins Park was damaged from rising flood waters. Galveston County was also awarded funds to elevate the electrical boxes to mitigate against this type of flooding damage in the future. This project includes both the repair of above and underground electric line as well as the elevation of electric boxes at multiple locations. The goal is to start the project January 1, 2025 and be complete by March. 2025. It is Galveston Countys intent to contract with one vendor to complete the entire project and the bidder should plan to complete at least 30% of the scope of work through their own company and only sub-contract 70% or less of the work.
