Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Okeechobee, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a service station / car wash facility; for the demolition of a service station / car wash facility; for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility; for site work for a service station / car wash facility; and water / sewer project.

Project Number - 23060 The project consists of furnishing labor, equipment, and materials for construction of emergency power system improvements. Generally, the work includes demolition of existing diesel fuel storage tank, removal/replacement of generator set, electrical demolition and improvements, minor modifications to existing vacuum pump station building, minor architectural and site restoration, and other incidentals as indicated by the Drawings and Specifications or as required to properly complete the project as planned. Each Proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Okeechobee Utility Authority,in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The bid form must be filled in completely and accurately, particularly as it pertains to alternate bid items. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents. Bid bonds, contract bonds, insurance contracts, and certificates of insurance shall be either executed by or countersigned by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company having his place of business in the State of Florida and complying with the insurance laws of the State of Florida. Further, the said surety or insurance company shall be duly licensed and qualified to do business in the State of Florida. To perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold or obtain such Contractors' and Business Licenses as required by State Statutes. The Okeechobee Utility Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in the bid, reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond forty-five (45) calendar days from the bid opening date.
