Renovation of a mixed-use development in Durham, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) located in Durham, NC, is seeking competitive bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver one (1) water-cooled chiller as part of the chiller plant expansion project. NCSSM is Owner-Furnishing this chiller in advance of execution of the project construction contract to ensure the chiller is on-hand in time for the project completion in Summer 2025. (Students will reoccupy the residence halls for the start of classes in early August 2025.) The unit will be Contractor-Installed as part of the future renovation construction (single prime). Drawings and specifications for the chiller are attached to this Invitation for Bids (IFB). Delivery date is a critical consideration, and vendors may submit multiple options in their bid. Clearly distinguish the unit selection, cost, and delivery date for each option submitted. Delivery date shall be on or before late January 2025. Minor variations (inches) in the specified unit size dimensions may be considered in order to improve the delivery date.
