Amendment 0002 is to add important information that was missing related to Enoree RD. The major change is to change the number of 18" Dia. 14 Gauge Type II Aluminized Steel from 122 to 89. Attachments J18, and J19 have been revised with new quantities changes. This is a Solicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition (FAR) Part 5. A Multiple Award Task Order Contract (IDIQ) for maintenance, repair, and construction of roads within the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests in South Carolina. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, facilities, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to perform the ordered tasks. Road maintenance includes services, such as: grading; ditch cleaning; cleaning culverts; minor culvert and drainage repair; brushing; mowing, and spot surfacing. These activities will be subject to the Service Contract Act Wage Determinations. Road Repair and Construction includes activities, such as; clearing, excavating, embankment construction, installing culverts, asphalt surfacing, concrete construction, bridge work, and other typical road construction activities. These activities will be subject to the Davis Bacon Act Wage Determinations. Task Orders (TOs) will be packaged with the project specific details. TOs may include only service activities, service and construction activities, or only construction activities. The IDIQ contract will have a ceiling of $10,000,000.00. All task orders and subsequent modifications will not exceed $10,000,000.00 over the term of the contracts. The Forest Service will have the right to recompete this requirement or use other contracting methods for similar work that could fall under this IDIQ, at any point during the term of this contract. This is not a Requirements Contract. The Government is not obligated to award any task orders beyond the guaranteed minimum of $2,500 responsive contractors will receive. The majority of task orders will most likely be valued under $150,000. Task orders will be solicited to all awarded contractors. Task orders will be awarded to the lowest cost responsive proposal provided by the contractors awarded this contract. In order to be responsive to the task order solicitations, contractors shall respond to a minimum of 75% of all task orders solicited under this contract. Any project specifc requirements will be specified in Individual Task Orders. The Government intends to award multiple contracts for the services of up to eight (8) contractors under this solicitation. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The primary NAICS code is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The small business size standard is $45 Million. Request for Proposal (RFP) due date for pricing proposals is Friday, June 7, 2024 by 5:00pm (ET). Location: Enoree Ranger District Office 20 Work Center Rd Whitmire, SC 29178 Date: Thursday, May 16th, 2024 Time: 1000 hrs. Amendment 0001 is to add important information that was missing related on the culvert replacements on the Enoree RD. The major change is to change the number of culvert removals from 5 to 4. Attachments J18, J19, and J20, will take place of attachments J05, J06, and J17.
