All materials and equipment must meet the plans and specifications as approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and work performed shall be under the supervision ofthe Lorain County Sanitary Engineer. All contractors involved with this project will to an extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in implementation ofthis project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements ofOhio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lorain County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Document Notes Official bid documents and specifications can be obtained at the office ofthe Lorain County Sanitary Engineer, 247 Hadaway Street, Elyria, Ohio between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Only bids prepared on the official documents obtained by the County Sanitary Engineer will be accepted. A $50.00 nonrefundable deposit is required for each set ofbidding documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 ofthe Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State ofOhio to provide said surety. Each proposal shall contain the full name or names ofpersons and company submitting the proposal and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked Forestview Street Sanitary Sewer Extension. A nonrefundable deposit of $50.00 is required for each set ofbidding documents.
