Boone Rd & Snell Rd Sidewalk Improvement project in Columbia Township in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the office of Ken Carney, Lorain County Sanitary Engineer. This project consists of installing new sidewalk along the east side of Boone Rd from the Snell Rd intersection to approximately 0.7 miles to the south, and along the North Side of Snell Rd starting 0.16 miles east of Boone Rd and continuing 0.32 miles to the east. All interested parties are welcome to attend the bid opening to be held immediately following the deadline, in the Lorain County Commissioners Public Hearing Room-D. All materials and equipment must meet the plans and specifications as approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and work performed shall be under the supervision of the Lorain County Sanitary Engineer. All contractors involved with this project will to an extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so Any interpretation, correction or modification to the specifications desired shall be in writing to the Lorain County Sanitary Engineer's Office, 247 Hadaway Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least four (4) working days prior to the date of bid opening.
