The Fall River Nagle Auditorium Building - Roof Replacement project shall include Work, but not limited to, replacement of existing roof with PVC membrane roof system; remove eleven (11) monitor skylights; cap and infill openings and components; associated mechanical work to raise mechanical equipment for new roof curbing; associated plumbing for removal and replacement of roof drains. General Contract Date: 05/16/2024 at 2:00 PM ET The General Bids shall be filed with the Owner at the location designated above accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond or cash or a certified check on, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by, a responsible bank or trust company payable to The City of Fall River in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. All bids shall include six copies, one original and one flash drive. A performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth and satisfactory to the Owner and each in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required of the successful general bidder and filed sub-bidders. Upon Award, the Work of this Contract for the Fall River Nagle Auditorium Building - Roof Replacement project is scheduled for Final Completion on OCTOBER 31, 2024. Each bidder is advised that before contract award, the lowest bidder shall be required to provide the Owner with documentation stating how it intends to meet the minority and women business enterprise goals for the project. The MBE / WBE Combined goal is five (5) percent of construction contract amount. The work of this contract is predominantly roofing construction and will require a Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) Prime General Contractor certified in Roofing for the work and dollar amount of the Project. The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any and all bids when doing so is deemed in the best interest of the City of Fall River. The Department of City Operations intends to award a contract within thirty (30) days of bid opening.
